A contentious subject, gladly delved into by me, myself and I on twitter
A question posed on Twitter:
Q: This is a load question..Can you be both gay and a Christian?
My A: I have the answer – I’m THAT smart: All sin and have come short of the Glory of God. No man hasn’t sinned (2 b cont’d) .we as Christians still sin from time to time (there is really no big or small sin to God, we sinned, we need salvation…. a true ‘living for God’ christian will be doing all s/he can to honour God and NOT sin. We don’t lose salvation when we sin… Christ died ONCE for ALL. Yet if we persist in said sin, with no repentance, then God is the judge of whether we are in His book of life or not. That final bit is really the mystery for me.
I ain’t no theologian but this is what I get from scriptures, you may have an opinion otherwise, lets hear it if you do :). The brevity and language of the above is because it was tweeted in 140 character bursts (the limit on twitter)
What do you think?
Wondering whether it is a sin at all?
Romans 1:27 (NLT) And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved.
