The Christian leader living in Egypt also reported, “Fanatic Muslim supporters of Muslim Brotherhood, armed with all sorts of weapons from machine guns to Molotov bottles have found attacking the peaceful Christians and burning down their churches, shops and houses as an easy way not only to show their dominion on ground, but also to punish multitudes of Christians for standing against the policies of former president Morsi and his fallen regime.”
So Muslim brotherhood folk who don’t like that the secular army ousted their chosen leader start attacking Christians? The middle east confounds me almost daily for the stuff that makes no sense coming out of it.
They are burning christian churches as if this will sway the army or the country in their direction? It just boggles my mind.
Christians are being killed in Syria as well Gunmen Indiscriminately ‘Massacre’ Christians in Syrian Village, Women & Children Among Dead
It just makes no sense other than Satans effect on man.
“We, Christians of Egypt, are facing a severe time of persecution and suffering that we may have not witnessed since the Roman times!” the source explained.
Pray for the christians who are being persecuted, its coming here (by here I mean North America). Its already here really, the start of it. The clamp down on free speech about homosexuality, the clamp down on homeschooling fearing indoctrination of christianity on the kids (as if this is a bad thing). I submit its the christians which hold down over all much of the violence and craziness which would otherwise befall a nation not under God. And its true, Canada, nor the US can really be said to be God honouring right now.
We are SO close to the end, we are IN the end days (started big when Israel became a nation), persecution will get worse and worse. Thank God every day you live in a mostly peaceful, somewhat God fearing nation (if you do)! We are blessed to be where we are. The rest of the world is living in biblical times of persecution, we so far are mostly sheltered from it but not for long.
2 Timothy 3:
1But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.2For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,3unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,4treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,5holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.6For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,7always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
